What is Muallaf ?
The concept of Muallaf in Islam and Malaysia is the word ‘Muslim converts/reverts’. Means those who are changed from their previous religions to Islam and becomes a Muslim. In Islam, they are called ‘Muallaf’.
The word Muallaf comes from the Arabic
‘Al-Muallafa Qulūbuhum’
which means,
“those whose hearts are won over” or “those hearts that need softening”
